Grounds Maintenance Operative
Shift Times: 07:30-16:00 Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £11.44 - £12.50ph depending on experience
Location: OX14 3DB- Abingdon
This is a temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.
Job Responsibilities:
Working in this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality grounds maintenance service to a range of clients throughout the local area. Working within a team, you will handle a variety of activities including:
1. Grass cutting
2. Strimming
3. Hedge pruning
4. Flower bed maintenance
Ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day-to-day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.
Training:
The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practices.
To succeed, you will need:
1. To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
2. Hold a full valid UK Driving License.
3. A willingness to learn & open to training.
4. A safety-conscious mindset.
5. Capability of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g., strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers, etc.).
6. Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
7. Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role is desirable.
