Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of logistics, and proficiency in various supply chain management systems.
Duties
1. Coordinate and oversee logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
2. Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and improve processes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
4. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and supplier communications.
5. Implement best practices in supply chain management to reduce costs and improve service levels.
6. Help manage stock control and stock reconciliation.
7. Build and develop supplier relationships.
8. Manage booking in schedule for haulers/suppliers.
9. Other ad hoc duties as required by the needs of the business.
Experience
1. Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics is essential.
2. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
