MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a Mechanical Design Engineer for our one Alliance framework. The one Alliance is a totally collaborative organisation made up of seven partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO) and their extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. Your responsibilities will include: Produce Outline and Detailed Mechanical Designs which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the client’s specifications, and which can be purchased, installed and commissioned effectively Production and Checking of all design deliverables including Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Calculations Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations Ensure that standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible Delivering the design stage outputs of each project within the agreed timescale and budget Coordinating design outputs across all technical disciplines Preparing monthly project status reports Establish working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs About You Degree or equivalent qualification Chartered or near chartered in a construction discipline as appropriate to grade Experience in the Water treatment Industry Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety About Us MWH Treatment is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector.
