Picture Framer Location: South Woodham Ferrers, Essex Salary: Very Competitive depending on experience (£27,000 to £32,000 per annum) Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday's Noble Recruiting have a new position with a prestigious company expanding their picture, canvas & art framing team and are now looking for an experienced Picture Framer to join their friendly, established team. If you’re interested in being a key part in a dynamic business, with ambitious growth plans, read on… About the role What you’ll be doing Measure, cut, and assemble frames according to customer specifications. Cutting glass, mount board, foam board, backing boards and other materials. Select appropriate materials and tools for framing projects. Mount artwork using various techniques, including float-mounting. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Machinery and tools you will use include: Morso Circular saw-cutting machines Underpinners, various models Point drivers CNC mount cutting machines Experience Required: Minimum 1 year previous experience as a picture framer. If no previous experience as a framer, then 2 years minimum experience as a second-fix carpenter or a bench joiner would be essential. Good quality work and an eye for fine detail is necessary. Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and across multiple projects simultaneously.
