Software System Analyst Location: Cheshire (Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 days home) About the Role Are you passionate about delivering impactful software solutions? We’re looking for a Software System Analyst to take ownership of end-to-end software projects. This is a hands-on role, blending business analysis and solution design to ensure smooth implementations. You'll be in the details, shaping technical solutions, testing, training, and rollout—not just overseeing timelines. Please note Software Development experience is essential for this role as this person will be at the centre of technical problem-solving, working across multiple teams and technologies. This is a junior to mid-level role, ideal for someone looking to gain more hands-on project ownership. It won’t suit a senior-level candidate looking to lead large teams or manage complex enterprise-level transformations. What You'll Be Doing Business & Technical Analysis – Gather, refine, and document requirements, ensuring solutions align with business needs. Solution Design – Work with developers and tech leads to shape technical solutions that solve real problems. Project Leadership – Own and drive delivery, ensuring projects stay on track from concept to implementation. Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with product owners, developers (Oracle, Java, C#), and testers across a variety of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Hands-On Involvement – Support testing, training, and rollouts—this is not a hands-off PM role. Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with business teams to communicate progress, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption. Who We're Looking For ✔️ Experience: software project delivery, ideally blending BA and PM skills ✔️ Technical Mindset: Not a developer, but someone who understands software development lifecycles and can engage with tech teams. ✔️ Business Analysis Skills: Able to deep dive into business needs and translate them into tangible, technical solutions. ✔️ Project Delivery Experience: Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, balancing priorities, and ensuring smooth execution. ✔️ Adaptability: Able to work across different methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and with both internal and external stakeholders. What’s in It for You? Growth Potential – Clear pathways for career progression, with past team members moving into senior roles. Variety & Challenge – Work on a diverse range of projects, from smaller software implementations to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. Collaborative Culture – A friendly, agile, and innovative team that values initiative and continuous improvement. Hybrid Working – Flexibility to work from home while maintaining meaningful in-person collaboration. Next Steps Interested? Apply now, and let’s talk about how you can make an impact
