Main duties of the job
Key elements of the role:
1. Contributing to the production of financial reports in accordance with Trust procedures and timetables.
2. Budget statement reconciliation and analysis.
3. Investigating variances and making any necessary adjustments.
4. Identifying data processing errors and making corrective changes.
5. Manipulating income and expenditure data for forecasting and budget setting exercises.
6. Validation of new spend and involvement in business cases.
7. Active engagement with budget holders and other Trust colleagues is paramount to being successful in this position.

8. Educated to degree level, NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
9. Equivalent professional experience.

10. To be working towards an AAT qualification.
11. To be working towards a CCAB qualification.

12. Experience of working in an accounting department, including in a specialist financial management role.
