Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Contract: Temporary/Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic secondary school in Derby.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and managing classes during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and complete their work. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students in classrooms, ensuring their safety and well-being
Manage classroom behavior, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
Provide support to students, helping with the completion of tasks and assignments
Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members
Assist with administrative tasks when required
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
Experience working with secondary school students (desirable)
A positive attitude and a passion for supporting young people
Flexibility and reliability
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
