Infinis is the UK’s leading generator of low-carbon power from captured methane. Our mission is to create a low-carbon future by capturing methane gas from landfill sites and disused mines and converting it to electricity.
Our sustainable energy expertise includes solar power and battery energy storage (BESS) technology. This work helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions' impact on climate change and provides secure, efficient local power generation. Low-carbon electricity generators like Infinis will support the UK's journey to net zero in several ways.
About the role
As part of our highly skilled field-based operations team, you will play a crucial role in our mission. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide exceptional technical support by performing comprehensive preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance on our fleet gas reciprocating engines and related plant to ensure equipment is functioning optimally and address any issues that arise. You will be instrumental in identifying early warning signs of engine malfunctions, fault-finding, rectification, and dismantling and rebuilding engines, which will be crucial in overhauling all associated plant equipment.
At Infinis, we deeply value your experience and ambition. If you have experience working on gas reciprocating engines, your expertise will be highly respected and invaluable. Our grading system acknowledges and rewards your ambition and experience, offering the potential for significant career growth. We will consider your application if you have experience servicing mechanical plant equipment, large diesel or petrol engines, LGV, HGV, or marine and agricultural equipment. This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and develop your career in a dynamic, forward-thinking company.
