Senior Brand Manager - La Roche Posay - Mat Cover FTC - LDB
Are you a results-oriented marketing leader ready to lead the Marketing Strategy of the UK's #1 Dermatologist-Recommended Suncare brand? We're seeking a dynamic individual to build, lead, and execute the annual franchise plan for Anthelios, La Roche-Posay.
This is your opportunity to drive significant growth, spearhead exciting new product innovation, and optimise our core product portfolio, all while aligning with the overarching brand strategy. From high impact large media campaigns, to shooting a digital film with a Gram Slam champion, to ensuring our ranges instore are eye-catching and educational, or presenting at our annual conference to our division's 200 employees, the role is exciting, with no day the same.
In 2024, we had our biggest ever year on Anthelios, amplifying our association with outdoor sports - with Tennis as a focus - via our work with Andy Murray and Jannik Sinner, as well as continuing our mission to raise awareness of skin safety and Skin Cancer-prevention for all. In 2025, Innovation is at the core of the franchise with 3 exciting launches, with more to come in 2026.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Orchestrate & Execute: Develop and implement short- to medium-term activation plans, assessing sales potential and influencing investment decisions. Implement new launches and strive to maintain growth on pillar products aligned with the overall brand strategy.
- Media Vision: Collaborate with the Brand Business Director on media strategy and partner closely with our media agency to optimise media spend and campaign performance. You'll champion the creation of best-in-class assets that deliver on time and on target.
- Brand image expert: Work closely with communications and digital teams to amplify PR and online opportunities, ensuring our medical DNA is powerfully and consistently communicated.
- Insight-Driven Strategist: Dive deep into product performance data, consumer insights, and competitor activities. Transform these insights into actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator: Mobilise and collaborate with Medical, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Supply Chain, Education, and external agencies to flawlessly execute the Anthelios strategy.
- Engaging Presenter & Communicator: Plan, attend, and present at internal & external meetings, including retailer engagements and divisional conferences, to energise stakeholders and rally them behind our vision.
- Portfolio Management Expert: Oversee day-to-day portfolio catalogue management, including artwork and product lifecycle.
- Resource Optimization: Prioritize and strategically reallocate budget across activities based on business objectives.
- Analytical Powerhouse: Proactively seek to close knowledge gaps by building a strong retail network. Independently interrogate data, applying diverse methods to uncover hidden insights and translate them into actionable short, medium and long term strategies. Confidently distil complex data into impactful communications tailored to your audience.
- Results-oriented Executor: Executes agreed plans, on time and within budget. Communicate effectively across functions to ensure alignment and achieve marketing objectives. Adapts and creatively problem-solve to overcome challenges.
- Future Leader Skills: Directly manage the La Roche-Posay Management Trainee, providing coaching and guidance to accelerate their development. Simultaneously, inspire and upskill junior team members within the La Roche-Posay team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced in a face-paced consumer sales environment, with an understanding of a mix of distribution points.
- Educated to at least a degree level.
- Highly entrepreneurial mindset - autonomy, strategic thinking and collaboration are critical to drive our brand.
- Vision - able to create and develop strong brand visions and action plans, taking the lead on motivating the wider business.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent presentation skills, able to influence and inspire any audience.
- Knows how to manage the complexity in terms of number of interlocutors, projects, timelines, meeting presentations.
- Self-motivation and strong organisation skills to be able to work autonomously to drive your franchises.
- Resilience and flexibility - the ability to adapt to dynamic business and market demands, overcoming challenges and driving success in an innovate way.
- Creativity - able to think outside the box and create innovative, insight-driven solutions, to drive the best ROI whilst growing brand equity.
- Strong analytical skills and good commercial acumen, to enable you to work closely with the commercial and finance teams.
- Demonstrated success in understanding consumer behaviour and dynamics within your current market experience. A strong curiosity to explore and analyse the category of Skincare and Dermocosmetics, coupled with the ability to adjust & learn quickly.
- Experience in launching products - from sizing to market: with a 360 consumer centric viewpoint.
- Digital orientation - to grow awareness and engagement online across multiple platforms; pure media, social, and co.uk.
- Potential to successfully manage people: ensure each individual has a work plan that showcases and develops their skills and talent, empowering & coaching them to be their best every day.
