We're seeking an Operations Manager with an installation, production or construction background, looking to take on a strategic role, within our Senior Leadership Team.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead our production team and ensure seamless project execution.
About the role
As our Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of our production and installation processes, leading a team of 15-20 employees. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring efficiency, quality, and growth across all operational areas, from scheduling and stock management to fleet coordination and budgeting. We’re looking for a strategic thinker and problem solver who can inspire a team while driving operational excellence.
* Oversee all installation scheduling and facilitation, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
* Lead and manage the production team, fostering a motivated and high-performing workforce.
* Project manage all production and installation activities, ensuring smooth workflow and problem resolution.
* Handle all ordering and stock management, optimising inventory to prevent delays and reduce waste.
* Oversee fleet management, ensuring company vehicles are maintained and used efficiently.
* Manage budgets and financial planning within production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
* Provide regular management reporting, offering insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Drive growth in production through strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and continuous process improvements.
* Oversee health and safety across our operations to ensure we’re fully compliant.
A typical day looks like
Your day might start with a team briefing to review schedules and address any immediate challenges. You’ll oversee production activities, liaise with suppliers for stock and materials, and ensure installations run smoothly. Throughout the week, you’ll manage budgets, fleet operations, and problem-solve any logistical issues. Regular reporting and meetings with senior leadership will keep operations aligned with business goals. You’ll regularly check in with the team, ensuring everything is on track and planning ahead for continuous improvement.
About you
The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager with a strong background in manufacturing or construction environments. You should be a proactive problem solver, an inspiring leader, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role. We need someone who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational efficiency.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams (15-20 people).
* Excellent project management abilities, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Experience in stock control, procurement, and budget management.
* Knowledge of fleet management and logistics.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
* Ability to drive growth and efficiency within a production environment.
