Due to the imminent retirement of our existing Head of Governance, Risk and Assurance, we are now seeking a trusted and experienced head of service, to complement our existing senior leadership team. About the job WHAT YOU WILL DO You will be responsible for leading on the organisational governance, risk management and assurance frameworks across Coastline and must have proven experience in a similar senior role, preferably in a highly regulated industry with strong knowledge of governance, risk and assurance processes. Your key responsibilities will involve: • Leading on the development and implementation of governance, risk and assurance activities; • Ensuring compliant with all relevant regulations and standards; • Overseeing risk management processes, identifying and mitigating potential risks; • Providing expert advice and support to the Board and senior management, on governance and risk matters; • Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies when required; • Leading on customer complaints, subject access requests and data protection related activities. WHO YOU WILL BE Maintaining the top regulatory Governance rating and providing first class support to our Board, Committees and Executive team means it is essential you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, and be a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills is also critical for the role you will be undertaking. You will be passionate about living our organisational values and holding yourself and others, accountable.
