Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate EYFS Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Durham. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who understands the importance of early childhood development and is committed to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom where children feel safe and motivated to learn
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured play and creative activities
* Monitor and assess progress, ensuring all children reach their developmental milestones
* Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and SEN staff to provide tailored support for individual needs
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in Early Years education
* A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
* Creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to teaching young learners
* Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
