Key Responsibilities: Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Student Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with their learning and development. Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively. Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources to support lesson plans. Administrative Tasks: Support the teacher with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and organising classroom activities. Supervision: Supervise students during break times, lunchtimes, and other activities as required. Individualised Support: Work with students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they receive the appropriate support and guidance. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Qualifications: A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred but not essential. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents. Patience and Empathy: A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.
