Subscription Financing – Origination and Execution

Main Purpose of the Role:
* Front Office role working in collaboration with Relationship Managers, private capital clients and prominent agent banks to originate, structure and execute subscription financing transactions for funds.
* Transactions will include subscription finance transactions across multiple fund strategies, primarily private equity, credit, infrastructure, real estate and secondaries.
* Lead role in building dialogue with clients and prominent agent banks on subscription financing and origination of new mandates.
* Full responsibility for structuring, negotiating and execution of transactions.
* Ongoing management of fund finance portfolio.
Key Activities and Key Competencies:
* Development of dialogue with clients and other market participants on new fund financing opportunities and origination of new mandates.
* Deal execution, including:
o Fund quantitative and qualitative analysis and transaction structuring;
o Negotiation of structure, terms and legal documentation with clients and other transaction parties;
o Internal presentation of transactions and co-ordination and management of internal approval process.
* Management of post transaction monitoring and fund performance and action any requests for approval together with the monitoring team.
* Collaboration with other product areas in the broader Asset Finance group.
* Maintain strong relationships amongst banks and private capital clients and knowledge of developments and trends in the fund finance market.
Key Requirements:
* University degree or equivalent.
* Sufficient years of subscription fund finance experience with solid transactional experience.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Team player with a strong work ethic.
