What You’ll Be Doing Providing Support Help individuals settle into the service, introduce them to routines, and ensure they feel safe and valued. Creating Care Plans Work with the team to develop tailored support plans that meet each person’s unique needs. Encouraging Growth Assist with therapeutic group work, support learning activities, and help individuals develop daily living skills. Promoting Independence Encourage clients to take responsibility for household tasks and work towards their goals, whether that’s training, volunteering, or employment. Building Connections Help individuals develop support networks and ensure they have a smooth transition when moving on. What We’re Looking For Experience working in drug and alcohol services is essential. A compassionate and patient approach to supporting people. A recognised Social Care Qualification (SVQ Level 2 or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3 within a year. SSSC Registration is advantageous.
