Occupational Health Highly Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
37 hours - Full time or part time considered - Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and forward-thinking MSK physiotherapist to join us. NHS Tayside is re-establishing its staff physiotherapy service. The successful applicant will support redesign of an internal pathway for short term acute therapy, preventative support and self-management. They will play an integral role in supporting members of staff prior to an MSK related absence and in assisting recovery back to work.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the Occupational Health based caseload and will provide highly specialist MSK assessment and treatment to staff with injuries and conditions which impact their work. This includes advice and support to line managers on return to work plans or necessary amendments to role.
Tayside Occupational Health is a friendly multidiscipline team with many new initiatives taking place. The scope of this role covers the most acute to the most complex with regular opportunity to be the first point of contact for employees.
There will also be opportunities to implement health promotion activities and promote the benefits of physical activity amongst staff to aid in both their physical and mental wellbeing.
