Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced children and young peoples practitioner to join Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind to work within the newly commissioned Children and Young Peoples Emotional Wellbeing Service for Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The team sits within a wider integrated CYP Emotional Wellbeing service which aims to deliver quality, needs led interventions in a collaborative way to ensure that the needs of the young person and their family is at the forefront of all support delivered. Main duties of the job This is a dual role which integrates leading a small team of 3 other mental health practitioners and holding a case load of 1-1 and group-based interventions for children, young people and where needed their parents/carers. The team leader will have responsibility for the day to day running of the service with the support from the Head of Operations. The post holder will be involved in the development and delivery of a range of individual and group based therapeutic interventions to CYP who are identified as having more complex/higher level needs including for example, those who are looked after, neurodivergent or who have experienced trauma. Support will be targeted at point-of-need and bespoke to the individual and will be delivered within the community to be most accessible for young people living within Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
