Site Manager
A well-established and respected regional main contractor is looking for their next Site Manager to join their team due to several new tenders being won in the Southeast. They have a strong reputation for delivering projects across commercial, refurbishment, and education sectors.
About the role of Site Manager
As the Site Manager, you will be reporting to the Project Manager and be responsible for all day-to-day site activities for a newly awarded commercial project, ensuring the smooth delivery of the build in line with the project programme, budget, and quality. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor.
Responsibilities for Site Manager
1. Oversee and manage day-to-day operations to ensure the project is delivered safely and on time.
2. Lead and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
3. Monitor project progress and report on timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to the Project Manager.
4. Address any on-site issues promptly and efficiently to avoid delays.
Requirements for Site Manager
1. Proven experience as a Site Manager successfully delivering projects on time.
2. Previous experience working on commercial, education, or health care projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes and H&S.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors.
5. SMSTS, CSCS, and 1st Aid certifications.
What we offer:
The salary on offer is £55,000 - £65,000, along with a car allowance and other benefits.
