Teaching Assistant - KS1

Pay Scale: £380 - £440 per week take home pay
Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Long Term Futures is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support KS1 students. This full-time role focuses on providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support for SEN students in KS1.
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
- Help manage classroom behavior in line with the school's policies.
- Support students' social and emotional development, fostering confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress and provide actionable feedback.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Have experience supporting SEN students, particularly in a primary school setting.
- Be confident working with pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Be proactive, flexible, and passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
