This includes developing and implementing training programs, managing employee schedules, and conducting performance reviews and disciplinaries Oversee and manage store team performance by training, motivating and mentoring staff Selling a vast range of high-end quality furniture/beds/upholstery Input on marketing strategies to promote the store - planning and preparation for sales/promotions/events throughout the year Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by dealing with customer queries and complaints Work with Senior Management on floor layouts to maximise sales Maintain high merchandising and store standards and maximise sales opportunities Keyholding responsibilities Deal with day to day issues as they arise Person Specification: Experience of managing retail teams in a fast-moving retail environment, ideally within the home furnishings sector Customer driven with the ability to communicate at all levels Display competence in store operation including compliance, processes and visual merchandising Highly commercial, organised and adaptable with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload Motivated, with keen attention to detail Skills: Retail Management Merchandiser People Management Sales Person KPIs Sales reporting Benefits: commission Performance Bonus Medical Aid / Health Care staff discount company pension
