The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world. Its exciting times at Polar Speed and due to some internal development with our team we are now looking for a Transport Administrator at our Huthwaite depot. Key responsibilities: Responsibility for accurate and timely generation of picking orders and for timely creation of delivery paperwork, ensuring that all deliveries have paperwork prior to dispatch. Collect and collate delivery notes and summaries for vehicle runs both before and after delivery Collate statistics on performance, costs and reasons for usage of carriers. Complete daily filing of documents in an orderly manner. To assist in the production of a daily efficient, and cost effective, route plan. This to include new patients, out of schedule patients, dose/regimen changes and any other request in line with the company's core business. Liaise regularly with warehouse, customer care and pharmacy staff to ensure to ensure correct control of customer orders in line with delivery schedules. Monitor failed deliveries and process any goods returned in a timely manner. To comply with the requirements of the company integrated management system procedures and instructions as it affects/influences their work. To comply with the company environmental requirements and to dispose of waste according. To comply with all health and safety requirements of the job and to consider the health and safety of others while carrying out the job. To conduct themselves in line with the culture defined and expected with Polar Speed. To comply with the company rules and policies in relation to data protection and confidentiality as it applies to their job. Undertake any other appropriate tasks deemed necessary by the line manager Key Skills/Experience/Requirements: Experience of working within a busy transport operations - Desirable. Excellent PC skills including Microsoft office - Desirable Ideally, some experience with transport management suites and scheduling/routing software (AutoRoute, Paragon) - Desirable.
