We’re currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a local primary school in Bridgend as a 1:1 Behavioural Support Assistant. This role involves supporting a pupil with complex medical needs, providing consistent assistance and engagement throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 support to the pupil during classroom activities and throughout the school day.
Follow the pupil’s Individual Education Plan (IEP), helping them stay engaged and meet learning goals.
Assist with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transitions between activities, as needed.
Attend relevant training and development opportunities to build on your skills.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with behavioural needs (preferred, but not essential).
Manual handling training (desirable).
Reliable availability to support a consistent routine for the pupil.
Basic IT proficiency.
Hours
Working hours are flexible and will be discussed in coordination with the school to best suit both your schedule and the pupil’s needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
