Joining us as a Banking Services Specialist will allow you to take responsibility for ensuring that appropriate banking services are in place to provide an excellent and efficient service to all internal and external customers!
About the role
You will be involved in supplier relationship management, monitoring service, cost and ensuring that any service failures are resolved quickly and with minimal customer impact. You will also monitor YBS groups compliance with payment scheme rules and payment limits agreed with the sponsoring banks.
* Monitor the performance of YBS Group Banking service suppliers by preparing and maintaining service related documentation to support and comply with the Group’s Supplier Relationship Management framework.
* Assist in the pricing negotiations with supplier of Banking services for the YBS Group by reviewing and verifying data analysis in respect of banking transaction activity.
* Effective management of cost centre income/expenditure budgets and regular monitoring of business volumes to support accurate forecasting.
* Management of YBS Group Bank Mandates ensuring changes are communicated and updated in a timely manner to minimise operational disruption.
About you
* Broad knowledge of UK/International payment schemes and regulation.
* Experience of reviewing/challenging existing processes and providing recommendations for process improvements.
* Experience of supporting operational teams through industry and internal project driven change.
* Awareness of financial services industry, markets and competitors.
* Experience of managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
