About your team Within the Investor Product Group (IPG) we will become our customers and members’ primary financial partner, supporting their personal investing needs and deepening their relationship with FIL, by delivering financial solutions. The Global Platform Solutions (GPS) Product Management and Development Team manage and develop our retail products, ensuring they are compliant and supporting the wider GPS teams in implementing compliant solutions and ensuring our existing processes are compliant. About your role Reporting to the Head of GPS Product Management and Development, you will work closely with our Operational Tax and Policy Teams to support the Product Teams, GPS Investor Servicing and Capability Teams with product queries, regulatory change, tax audits and corporate projects to ensure that all required change is regulatory compliant. Your key responsibilities will include: Review of operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations, including UK and US. Support the upskilling of the operational and service teams (GPS Delivery and Investor Servicing) to ensure knowledge and understanding of the relevant tax regulations and their application within our journeys and processes. Suggest and help implement new policies and procedures for improving the adherence to tax regulations to the capability and Investor Servicing teams. Assist in developing business and investment strategies within HMRC, and where relevant FCA guidelines Support horizon scanning of new regulation and interpret the regulations to ensure understanding of the impact across GPS. Support the implementation of new tax regulations, ensuring that our GPS Delivery & Service teams can interpret and apply the regulation to existing customers and journeys Act as a consultant to the Product, Wealth, and Advice teams to ensure understanding of the regulation for new and existing processes Support communication between Fidelity and third-party vendors and regulatory agencies. Support GPS with any regulatory audits and the interpretation of findings and implementation Provide product support on tax related matters About you You will be comfortable communicating regulations and regulatory change at all levels across our Global Platform Solutions Business and with external partners. Key Skills and qualifications include: Extensive knowledge of accounting methods, tax laws and audits with a proven track record as a tax specialist or analyst Ability to interpret regulations to processes and solutions Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Sharp attention to detail - experience in managing large volumes of work Strong written and oral communication skills Feel rewarded For starters, we’ll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
