We are currently seeking a Plant Administrator to join our busy East Kirkby depot.
Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.00
Location: Lancaster Business Park, East Kirkby, PE23 4BH

Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Reporting to: Plant Supervisor
Main Roles And Responsibilities
1. Answer phones, assist customers and end users, or forward as necessary to other departments in a timely and friendly manner.
2. Deal with customer requests for quotes for our product range and ensure that all relevant information is received by the customer.
3. Act as a key liaison between East Kirkby and the various departments at Head Office e.g. H&S, HR, IT, Payroll, Production, Stores etc.
4. Capture, digital upload and maintenance of quality records.
5. Assist with processing of sales orders during busy periods, including cover for annual leave and/or sick leave.
6. Understand AD stock and assist with allocation as and when necessary.
7. Provide Proof of Delivery Notes (PODs) upon request.
8. Provide cover for sales office between 8.30am-9am (by rota) and at lunchtime to ensure adequate level of service available 8.30am to 4pm.
9. Remote support for marketing department in maintaining inventory of show materials.
10. Procure stationery and maintain acceptable levels within a given budget.
11. Manage a Booking System for the East Kirkby Meeting Room and ensure necessary refreshments are arranged as and when required.
12. Keyholder cover for holiday / absence.
13. Liaise with cleaning contractors to ensure adequate cover.
14. Maintain all customer records.
15. Ensure excellent customer service is given at all times and build good customer relationships.
16. General filing and administrative duties in line with GDPR.
17. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and H&S instructions.
18. Assist with the upkeep of a tidy and organised working environment.
Essential Requirements
1. 5 GCSEs (A-C) to include Maths and English.
2. At least 2 years experience in a fast-paced office environment.
3. Experience of computerised sales and/or purchasing systems.
4. Strong software skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
5. Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
6. A demonstrable ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks, manage deadlines and workload.
7. Ability to work as part of a team, with several other departments and independently to contribute to the effective delivery of our Customer Experience.
8. Ability to provide excellent Customer Service in an all-round professional manner, possessing a high level of communication skills.
9. Confident, friendly and efficient manner.
Desirable Criteria
1. Competence in use of Microsoft Business Central.
2. Business Administration qualification.
