At Teaching Personnel we are recruiting a confident Teaching Assistant, to work in the heart of Derbyshire in a range of Schools. The successful candidate shall be working alongside Class Teachers in supporting the needs of students to ensure a positive learning environment for all.
We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, enthusiastic about education, patient and understanding when it comes to students of all abilities. Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Location: DE23
Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant include:
Managing disruptive behaviour.
Ensuring students stay on task.
Provie 1-to-1 support for students. In a group setting or sometimes a 1-to-1 basis.
Safeguarding students
Following the policies and procedures of the school.
Assist the class teacher in planning well-structured and engaging lessons for the class.
Liaise with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure they best support is provided for all students.
All applicants require an enhanced DBS on the update service and at least two references from previous employers.
Salary – Competitive, dependent on experience.
