Berkeley Scott are currently looking for Commis Chefs to join their expanding Team.
This is a very exciting prospect for the right Commis Chef who are looking for various shifts/hours to suit your current lifestyle. We are working with the most exciting venues across Manchester; sports stadiums, event venues, music venues and hotels; who are looking for Commis Chefs to support their event days.
In reward for your hard work as a Commis Chef you will receive
* Immediate starts and regular ongoing work to keep you busy throughout the year
* Weekly Pay – rates from £11.50 - £12.75 per hour
* Hours to suit
* Opportunities to work in numerous world class venues across Manchester
As a Commis Chef your responsibilities will be:
* Assisting the team to deliver world class events
* Supporting the kitchen team to deliver a smooth, safe and efficient event
* Work with the kitchen team to complete all food preparations ensuring fantastic plate presentation
* Follow all recipe guidelines and standards
* Follow all relevant food safety legislation
* Ensure the quality of food is of the exception standard that guests will expect from world class venues
* Assist in all other areas of the kitchen, including other sections, stores, pot wash and dish wash
Our Commis Chefs must have or be willing to obtain a DBS to work at some venues.
Our Commis Chefs must have or be willing to obtain Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen Level 2 Qualifications
All applicants with previous experience as a commis chef, cook, kitchen assistant should apply for these fantastic roles.
