Role Purpose
We are looking to recruit Judicial Pension caseworkers. The post holder will combine strong analytical skill, experience dealing with complexity and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
The job holder will be required to undertake the following duties and responsibilities.
* Follow relevant MoJ policies and procedures applicable to your work.
* Production and quality control of individual case work.
* Resolve complex queries, reviewing a range of evidence (including numerical data sources and written correspondence) to provide recommendations for action.
* Manage the relationships and expectations of a range of key external stakeholders (such as Judges and other MOJ departments), tailoring messages appropriately and paying close attention to detail.
* Communicate in a straightforward, honest, and engaging manner, choosing appropriate styles to maximise understanding and impact.
* Build the capability to develop and implement processes and change as required.
* Identify improvements to pensions data quality and data quality policies to ensure that statutory duties are fulfilled.
* Undertake any other duties commensurate with the skill set of this post as directed by your manager.
Key skills and knowledge
* Experience managing own workload and keeping others informed of progress.
* A record of delivering high quality work to tight deadlines and good time management skills.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
* An eye for detail and analytical ability.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience dealing with data and complex processes.
* A willingness to undertake a variety of tasks based on initiative and as required.
* Interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
References and a criminal record check will be required. You will need a current valid passport or your original long or short birth certificate.
