We are excited to partner with a thriving manufacturing company located near Hull who are looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent role for someone who is immediately available and ready to jump into a new role About the role As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties: Process expenses claims Cash book postings Statement reconciliations Process intercompany recharges and invoices Raising sales invoices Ensure creditors ledger is tidy each month end and fully allocated Be able to cover running the weekly maintenance report Assist during month end and process journals Provide cover for sales ledger and supplier payment runs when needed About you The successful Accounts Assistant will have the following attributes: AAT Level 4 qualified or working towards the qualification Good level of IT and computer systems literacy Positive attitude and excellent work ethic Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills both internally and externally 6-month maternity cover contract working with a close-knit finance team. Due to the location, a driving licence is essential.
