Our client is the UK's leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business based in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales and they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team as soon as possible!
The role will be temporary lasting until the end of October initially however, this could be extended depending on the needs of the business.
The hours are full time working 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. The client is also willing to consider 7.30am-4pm or 8am-5.30pm for the right candidate.
The pay rate for the role is £12.28 per hour.
We are looking for someone with a proven customer service background within logistics.
Duties of the role will include:
1. Being the primary point of contact for customers regarding their logistics needs.
2. Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels promptly and professionally.
3. Providing customers with information on shipment status, delivery times and dealing with any issues that may arise.
4. Processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system.
5. Monitoring the progress of orders and updating customers regularly on their status.
6. Liaising with lorry drivers, carriers, freight forwarders and other logistics partners to ensure efficient transportation of goods.
7. Investigating and resolving customer complaints or issues related to shipping, delivery, or order discrepancies.
In order to be considered for this role you should have proven experience within customer service and office administration. You will also need to have strong communication skills and be able to work within a busy environment and under pressure.
