Property Services Manager (Planned Works) St Austell £51,010 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen with Ocean Housing Group for a permanent, full time, Property Services Manager within our Property Services team. Working within our Planned Works division, you will be responsible for ensuring that all works delivered by the team offer value for money and operate within the constraints of the budget; including capital investment programmes, planned preventative maintenance and special projects. You’ll help to create strategies for developments and improvements to ensure that all objectives are achieved, making recommendations for continuous improvement and managing performance data to enable actions to address any performance gaps. With experience of managing budgets and resources, you will ensure the successful management and financial delivery of a high quality, efficient, value for money customer focused service for the following: Ocean Housings’ capital investment programmes Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes Special Projects You’ll ensure compliance with our policies, procedures, and initiatives and work closely with the Senior Manager (Repairs & Planned Works) to develop a risk management strategy and compliance register, which embraces best practice policies and procedures to provide effective control of assets and liabilities and mitigates Ocean’s exposure to risk. Educated to NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a relevant building trade, you will have extensive experience of managing a substantial scale Property Maintenance function. You’ll be accustomed to managing budgets (£10m) and team performance, ensuring that individuals have the resources needed to meet their objectives. With knowledge and understanding across multiple trade disciplines, you will be a hands-on manager who can share their wealth of knowledge and experience across the business. You’ll understand the importance of continuous improvement and change management and will be able to identify areas to increase customer satisfaction and performance. A confident communicator, you will feel at ease liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate a passion for cultivating exceptional customer service.
