We're recruiting a Deputy Manager for a well-established 5-bed children's home in Dunmow, Essex, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the Registered Manager in daily operations
*
Leading, mentoring, and supervising the care team
*
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
*
Building trusted relationships with children, families, and external professionals
*
Taking the lead in the Registered Manager's absence
What we're looking for:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) - Level 5 a bonus!
*
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's care setting
*
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations
*
Confident leadership skills and a calm, caring approach
*
A natural role model who leads with empathy, consistency, and respect
