HR Business Partner
Location: Regional (Corby Head Office)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
About the Role
This role will provide expert HR support across key areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance and development, and employee engagement. You will work closely with managers to ensure best HR practices are followed, contributing to a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
1. Support the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions and ensuring adherence to recruitment protocols.
2. Assist with interviewing and selection processes, ensuring a robust and fair hiring process.
3. Develop and maintain competency matrices and interview questions to support hiring managers.
Employee Relations
1. Provide guidance on attendance management and support managers with Occupational Health (OH) referrals.
2. Advise on employee capability and conduct disciplinaries, ensuring fair and consistent processes.
3. Support grievance handling, offering expert advice and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Performance & Development
1. Offer HR support to line managers on performance-related matters, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
2. Support the development and implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
3. Identify and source training courses aligned with business and employee development needs.
4. Assist with the annual performance cycle, ensuring a smooth and structured approach.
Engagement
1. Work with line managers to develop and implement engagement initiatives.
2. Support employee engagement strategies to enhance workplace culture and performance.
Key Skills & Experience Required
1. Previous experience in an HR advisory role, providing guidance across HR functions.
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
3. Experience supporting managers with recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
6. CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
