This role is an advanced apprenticeship and as such, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a course of study leading towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship qualification. This qualification will take up to 24 months. Apprentices will have 6 hours per week for off the job training. The main duties of this role is to provide general administrative and financial tasks to support Adult Social Care Services. You will deal with enquiries both written and verbal, from a wide range of internal and external customers. Completing all documentation and correspondence accurately and to a high standard. Attention to detail is key, you must be able to prioritise your work, manage your time and be able to adhere to deadlines and follow procedures. You will be required to enter and retrieve confidential information into our internal ICT systems. Excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of various IT systems is essential. You will provide cover for our reception and switch phone, for Etrop Court, which has over 500 Manchester City Council and NHS Staff, you will be dealing with various queries effectively and courteously with tact and diplomacy. You will need personal resilience and initiative to resolve queries at the first point of contact or escalate when appropriate within agreed timescales and procedures. About the Candidate We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and keen to learn. You will need excellent customer service skills and will need to be confident speaking to our Citizens, both in person and on the telephone. You will need to possess excellent keyboard skills and have a working knowledge of Microsoft IT packages. You will need to be a team player and will need to be able to prioritise your own workload and work to deadlines. You must be able to use your own initiative.
