An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join their well-established EHS team, providing essential support to their fast-paced environment. This role is focused on ensuring the plant operates at the highest standards of Health & Safety, in compliance with H&S and Environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enhancing the existing Safety Management System to meet site requirements and comply with relevant legislation.
2. Offering expert guidance and support in Health & Safety to site personnel.
3. Developing and coordinating the delivery of the Safety training program.
4. Collaborating with other sites to share best practices and implement the company's safety vision and Health & Safety policies.
5. Assisting in creating systems that promote personal responsibility for safety.
6. Developing a Process Safety Management System and fostering a strong Process Safety culture on-site.
7. Leading High-Risk Employee Management and High-Risk Scenario training.
8. Completing Hazard and Operability Studies for critical processes and new investments/significant changes.
9. Chairing the Safety Steering Committee and directing sub-committees.
10. Managing changes related to Personal and Process Safety.
Qualifications:
1. Degree qualification (preferred)
2. Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH or equivalent)
3. Proven experience in a Health & Safety Management role is essential.
