At Performance Optimal Health, we are looking for a few truly dedicated individuals for full-time positions, who are willing to travel to our multiple locations in Fairfield County. Additionally, we have some part-time positions available as well. Both full and part-time candidates should be knowledgeable and/or open, eager, and willing to learn.
A great candidate is open and curious. In the massage arm of POH, we think of ourselves as being a spa within a clinic. The work we do here as massage therapists is deeply connected with that of our fitness trainers, Pilates teachers, physical therapists, health counselors, etc. We are a team and, as such, we huddle. We communicate consistently with one another in an effort to help our clients Get Well and Stay Well!
Key Areas of Ownership:
1. Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
2. Responsible for communicating and transcribing all information regarding client's history and massage therapy services performed.
3. Educate clients on how massage can benefit their overall optimal health and make recommendations to engage in other services to benefit their optimal health and to reach their health goals.
4. Ability to work mornings, evenings, and some weekends.
5. Responsible for communicating with fellow providers to ensure a full circle, team approach to wellness and client care.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Associate degree or certification equivalent.
2. Connecticut state license in Massage Therapy and accreditation by the Commission on Massage Therapy (COMPTA).
3. 2+ years of experience as a massage therapist (preferred).
4. Ability to travel between several Connecticut Performance locations.
