Senior Quality and Compliance Administrator
Do you have a strong background in administration and document control processes? Are you looking for a role where your skills are valued, and you can contribute to a forward-thinking organisation?
Due to continued investment in our teams, we are recruiting a brand new role of Senior Quality and Compliance Administrator within our Contract Performance and Compliance team to help establish and maintain a document control process.
Who are we?
The NIHR funds, enables and delivers world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth. Our research helps turn discoveries into new or improved treatments, diagnostics, medical technologies and services. It provides those working in the NHS, public health, global health and social care with the evidence they need to better support patients, the public and people who need care.
In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Quality & Compliance Manager and Records Management Officer to provide excellent administration of the document control process for the NETSCC Quality Management System. This will include:
1. Reviewing, improving, and maintaining the document control process.
2. Coordinating the document change control process, working with document owners to help prioritise changes in a timely manner.
3. Assisting the Records Management Officer with the flow of documents in and out of NETSCC, including physical copies where required.
4. Assisting employees with accessing documents in the management system and maintaining templates.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is keen to learn. Our ideal candidate will be hard-working and flexible in their approach to work. You will have a strong administrative background, but other key skills are:
1. Experience of establishing and maintaining document control processes, ideally within an ISO9001 certified Quality Management System, and experience of using a computerised document management system, such as SharePoint.
2. Good interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
3. Strong organisational skills alongside a good attention to detail.
4. A proactive attitude with the ability to manage your own workload.
What can we offer you?
We recognise that our staff are at the heart of what we do, so we make sure we look after you! As well as a generous benefits package, as an organisation, we prioritise your wellbeing, as reflected in the Mind Workplace Wellbeing awards, where we have achieved Gold for the fifth year in a row!
Our hybrid working approach helps you with your work-life balance and offers you the chance to split your time between office and home working. We strive for cohesive and collaborative teams, so our expectation is you spend around 20% of your time in the office. We also know that personal development is important and have a range of ways to support you with this.
As a university, we aim to create an environment where everyone can thrive and are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and equality of opportunity. We believe that we can only truly meet our objectives if we are reflective of society, so we are passionate about creating a working environment in which you are free to bring your whole self to work. With a generous holiday allowance as well as additional university closure days, we are committed to supporting our staff and students and are open to a flexible working approach.
