We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic mental health nurse with a strong sense of initiative and excellent teamwork ability.
We provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary services and work closely with local specialist mental health teams, tertiary service providers, primary care, local statutory and non-statutory agencies, service users, and carers.
You will be based at Maidstone CMHT but may be expected to travel to our other site at Tunbridge Wells, Pembury.

The Community Mental Health Nurse is a key staff member within the multidisciplinary care team and will have continued responsibility to assess, plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate care, communicate findings, influence and drive change, and promote health, best practice, patient safety, and experience.
The Mental Health Nurse will be professionally accountable to the Executive Director of Nursing and operationally accountable to the Matron/Clinical Service Manager.
Effective communication skills and self-governance are required. You must demonstrate knowledge of high-level interventions and community assessment skills. Existing qualifications or a willingness to undertake training relevant to the post is expected.
The post holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
