This role is primarily for our Easter holidays 2025, however there is the potential of a summer position for the succesful applicant also Activity Manager - Job Overview As Activity Manager, your main concern is excursions, overseeing the operational side of each trip including entrances to landmarks and museums, restaurant bookings and transport to and from our centre. It will be your responsibility to ensure our clients are getting the service they expect, and you need to ensure that your team of Activity Leaders are motivated, energised and have the tools they need to deliver. You will also oversee the onsite activity programme via your Onsite Activity Co-Ordinator. Excursions 2 or 3 times a week every student will go on an excursion. These require a huge amount of planning and attention to detail. You’ll be expected to: Ensure the right number of coaches are booked and everyone gets to the destination Brief your Activity Leaders on the tour route - some may be going to the location for the first time Double check bookings and entrance times to any attractions, and amend with the provider directly where necessary Make sure the correct plans are in place for any offsite meals - and liaise with the Welfare Manager that all dietary requirements are covered Onsite Activites Our onsite programmes are a diverse mix of sports, arts and crafts and creative activities; this involves collaborating with external providers such as bushcraft, funfairs and DJs. Your Onsite Activity Co-Ordinator is there to help you with the planning and delivery, however final decisions are always yours. You’ll be expected to: Make sure your OSAC is planning well in advance and has the equipment they need to deliver the programme Review the rota with the OSAC to ensure the Activity Leaders' skillsets are being used effectively Check facility bookings with our host school and adjust as necessary Oversee the onsite activities in person from time to time to ensure the Activity Leaders are performing well Job Details Full Board - Accommodation and meals provided throughout your contract Salary - £700 per week 12.07% Holiday pay added to your salary Travel Allowance - £30 one off payment to help towards the cost of travel to and from the centre. Working Hours - Up to 48 hours per week based on 6 working days. Available Contract Dates - Temporary - April, July & August 2025 Pre-joining training dates - Staff are required to attend 2 x paid training days in advance of joining any programme.
