Due to expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Highly Specialised Clinical band 7 role within our community MSK Physiotherapy team providing out-patient care across East and North Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate will be part of the MSK Service senior team providing clinical leadership for care delivered by MSK Physiotherapy.
This is an opportunity to develop managerial skills as well as continuing to develop clinical knowledge and expertise. Internal training is available and appropriate external courses will be supported as part of PDP.
Band 7 Physiotherapist- Musculoskeletal Clinical Specialist
East and North Hertfordshire – Part time 20 hours
Hertfordshire Musculoskeletal Service is currently looking for a highly specialist musculoskeletal Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our community physiotherapy team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and competent musculoskeletal physiotherapist to further develop clinical and leadership skills as part of a supportive and knowledgeable out-patient integrated service. We have a commitment to clinical quality and ensure regular supervision and CPD opportunities
The MSK physiotherapy team form part of the integrated community MSK Services working alongside the MSK Clinical, Assessment and Treatment Service (MSKCATS), the ACTIVATE for CFS and Persistent Pain team and the Hand Therapy team.
The successful applicant will take a key role in clinical leadership working alongside the Team Leads and MSK Service Lead.

• On a daily basis to provide skilled team leadership in planning and delivering the high standards of physical therapy assessment, management, treatment and advice to musculoskeletal outpatients.
• To work autonomously to provide a comprehensive advanced assessment, diagnostic, treatments and management of patients with complex needs within a defined treatment cohort.
• To be an expert resource for patients and to promote and facilitate self-management principles in appropriate patients.
• To work in collaboration with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent standards of care to patients in line with any local or National principles/guidelines
• To provide advanced clinical expertise across the service area, participating in the development of professional competences and participation in professional appraisal systems.
