Senior Contracts Manager
Desired Candidate: Experienced Contracts Manager within the fit-out sector with a proven history of working on demanding frameworks.
The Company: An award-winning main construction contractor that is committed to delivering high-quality projects across a variety of sectors. Our client has been in the industry for over 100 years and has built a renowned reputation for delivering complete construction solutions for some of the UK's biggest businesses. Due to an increase in workload, our client is looking to appoint a Senior Contracts Manager that can deliver high-level fit-out & refurbishment projects in the commercial and retail sector on a nationwide basis.

The Role: Senior Contracts Manager delivering Banking Fit Out projects across Scotland ranging in value (£100k - £3m+).
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
1. Prepared to travel across Scotland for client, site meetings, and project visits.
2. A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks, and obligations.
3. Ideally have experience of working on frameworks (Banking, Retail, Commercial) delivering fit-out projects.
4. Commercial knowledge and ability to negotiate terms with a range of parties.
5. Well organized, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works.
Duties:
1. Reporting to the Business Unit Director.
2. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Enforce on labour selection and delegation.
4. Assist with project procurement requirements.
5. Write and update project programmes.
6. Attend meetings for the agreement of final accounts.
7. Post contract liaison with clients.
8. Manage and value variations.
9. Placing sub-contract orders.
10. Sub-contract negotiation and letting.
11. Allocate site supervision in accordance with scheme complexity.
12. Identify and on-board new subcontractors to support the business growth agenda.
13. Undertake comprehensive supplier reviews.
14. Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop operational plans for implementation.
15. Develop a strategy to drive consistency & improve quality of delivery.
16. Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with company specifications.

Pay: £65,000.00-£75,000.00 per year plus car allowance, pension, bonus & hybrid working.
