Job Overview
Ward A4 at Wythenshawe Hospital of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced or newly qualified Registered Nurses to join our team. Ward A4 is a General Surgery ward with Medical Outliers.
We are seeking proactive, forward-thinking Nurses who have patient care and experience at their heart. You will possess adept communication skills, be motivated, and eager to embrace variety in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis.
