Company Branding: A quality-focused developer is looking for an Assistant Site Manager for a brand new site in Derbyshire. You will be working with an award-winning team on a traditional new build housing project. We are looking for an individual who is quality-focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer care.
Job Duties:
1. Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Manage subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
4. Assist in the coordination of site logistics and resources.
5. Monitor and report on project progress.
6. Provide excellent customer service and address any site-related issues.
7. Contribute to the successful delivery of the project within budget and schedule.
Required Qualifications:
1. SMSTS certification.
2. CSCS card.
3. First Aid certification.
4. Valid Driving Licence.
5. Scaffold Inspection certification.
6. NVQ Level 4 in Construction Management or related field.
Experience:
1. Prior experience in new build housing projects.
2. Demonstrated experience in site management.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
2. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Knowledge of traditional new build housing techniques.
Working Conditions:
1. On-site construction environment.
2. Full-Time hours Monday to Friday.
