This role requires a skilled Painter / Decorator working across two homes in Leek and Stone. Some travel to Stockport will occasionally be required but the majority of the work will be Leek and Stone. The role involves Painting and Decorating, preventative maintenance and minor property repairs with an aptitude for problem solving. KEY TASKS OF THE POST Redecorating all areas in the homes on a rolling programme as directed by the maintenance supervisor and property manager Undertake minor maintenance and repair work associated with the home as required by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager Work in cooperation with the home manager and staff to plan and manage the safety of the residents staff and visitors while works take place Expectations The candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience of painting and decorating in a commercial environment and or hold trade qualifications. Have the ability to work in a speedy and safe manner around staff residents and visitors Demonstrate an aptitude for property maintenance and minor repairs around the home Understand and demonstrate the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace Comply with organisational safety, policies, procedures and Fire Safety regulations Travel is involved between the homes on a weekly basis the applicant must have a current full driving licence.
