Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a passionate and highly knowledgeable professional as teacher of Design and Technology (full time or part time). This is a popular and successful subject within The Hinckley School, both at KS3 and GCSE and at Post 16. Students at GCSE, can choose to study either Fine Art, Photography, Graphic Design & Illustration, 3D Design or Textiles and are able to continue their progression into The Hinckley School Post 16, whereby Art, Photography and Art & Design are all available to study at A level. Students enjoy studying both Level 3 and A Level courses within our own dedicated Post 16 area, which boasts its own Cafe6, private study area, computer rooms and dedicated Post 16 classrooms.
The role presents the opportunity to support and contribute to the education and development of pupils by providing appropriate opportunities, care and supervision, ensuring that students are able to safely access all aspects of School life, and are able to achieve their full potential during their time at The Hinckley School.
