We are looking for a skilled and passionate individual to join our fantastic team of professionals in our adult substance use service in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Our team work closely with people affected by alcohol and other drugs to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in harm reduction treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of our services.
To apply for this post, you will be a Registered Nurse, Pharmacist or Paramedic with current registration with either the NMC, GPhC or HCPC. Experience of working with individuals who use alcohol and other drugs is essential. You will have a non-medical prescribing qualification (or a willingness to work towards the qualification) and an in-depth knowledge of the issues affecting people who use substances.
If you are knowledgeable in harm reduction, treatment and recovery principles in addictions, ITEP and NICE guidance on detoxification and stabilisation protocols and are able to demonstrate the skills essential to provide care that is safe, evidence informed and service user focussed, you will thrive in this role.
