QHSE Specialist Suffolk Full-time £38,000 - £42,000 company bonus scheme DOE Join an exciting team as a QHSE Specialist and play a crucial role in supporting our company's quality control, health and safety, and environmental processes. Day-to-day of the role: Document Control & Maintenance: Manage and maintain the QHSE documentation system, ensuring coordination and adherence to standards. QMS Documentation Support: Assist in the development and upkeep of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) documentation. Internal Audit Support & Execution: Help plan and conduct internal audits, contributing to the audit programme. Incident Management: Support or lead investigations into near misses, incidents, and accidents, ensuring thorough analysis and corrective actions. Change Control Administration: Manage Change Requests and Opportunities For Improvement (OFIs) within the change control process. Non-conformance & Complaint Handling: Investigate and manage client complaints and non-conformances, ensuring resolutions and preventative measures. QHSE Record Management: Maintain documentation related to near misses, incidents, accidents, complaints, and non-conformances. Supply Chain Documentation: Manage QHSE documentation for contractors and service engineers within the supply chain. Environmental Record Keeping: Keep the company's environmental records up-to-date, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards. Electronic Specification Library Management: Maintain and update the company’s electronic specification library. General QHSE Administration: Manage other relevant QHSE documents and records as directed. Document Creation & Amendment: Create and amend QHSE documents as required. Audit Programme Support: Assist the QHSE Manager during audits. Interdepartmental Liaison for QHSE Compliance: Support other departments to ensure compliance with the company’s quality system and QHSE standards. Effective QHSE Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure QHSE requirements are met. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships, fostering a positive QHSE culture. Personal & Workplace Safety: Promote a safe working environment in compliance with company procedures and legal requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Competence in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and internal auditing principles. Knowledge of client complaint and non-conformance investigation processes. Awareness of the hazards associated with hazardous chemicals and materials. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a QHSE role. Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015. Practical experience in internal and external audits. Experience in investigating near misses, incidents, accidents, client complaints, and non-conformances.
