ESOL Lecturer Hourly Rate: £30-£35 Location: West London Job Type: Part-time (18 hours per week) We are seeking an ESOL Lecturer to deliver engaging and effective lessons in Level 1 English to speakers of other languages. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about language education and has a strong background in conducting Speaking & Listening exams. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for ESOL students. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback. Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Prepare students for Speaking & Listening exams, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria. Attend and contribute to department meetings and training sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications: CELTA certification or equivalent. Proven experience in teaching ESOL at Level 1. Strong experience in preparing students for Speaking & Listening exams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Strong organisational and planning skills.
