The difference you will make as a Service Development Officer You will support the Income Excellence Manager with service developments to improve income management and collection rates for Riverside’s Social Housing and Shared Ownership functions. Taking a data led approach, we are always looking to improve the service we deliver to customers, making it easier for our colleagues to deliver that service with an efficient and commercially aware approach that aligns with Riverside’s values. About you We are looking for someone who Be able to act as an Subject Matter Expert for the Income Management team. Work as part of the Service Development Team to drive the Income Management function forward with developments ranging from improving processes and drafting guidance to supporting with wider business projects. Ensure that monitoring systems are in place to carry out effective audit, analysis and evaluation of services. Produce timely and accurate performance information and reports to, and for use by, managers, panels/forums, and customer groups. Provide coordination and oversight of our Quality Assurance System and other audit tools. Carry out detailed audits of services and be able to draw out any quality, compliance, staffing, risk or other performance issues. Provide business reports with insightful analysis covering a range of business-critical activities and communicate this to key stakeholders across the business. Why Riverside? Role Profile Person specification Knowledge, Skills and Experience • Ability to work independently, under pressure and deliver to deadlines. • Excellence data analysis skills and the ability to use data to provide meaningful management information to drive business decisions, deliver outcomes and improve services. • Excellent IT skills MS365 systems and income collection software. • Up to date knowledge of legislation, regulation and standards relation to social housing and income collection across all tenure types. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and able to present to a variety of audiences. • Attention to detail and outcome focused. • Proven track record of effective stakeholders’ engagement both internally and externally. • Customer focused and lives the Riverside Values Desirable • Experience working in Social Housing or Income Management • Proven track record to delivering continuous improvements to performance and service development. Additional Information • The Group has offices across the UK and on this basis, there will be the requirement to travel to other locations to effectively perform this role. The role holder must hold a valid UK driving license. • The role will be exposed to sensitive information; therefore, the role holder is expected to maintain levels of confidentiality at all times and adhere to our data governance principles and procedures and schedule of delegated authority. • In order to fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be required to work flexibly during the hours of operation.
