About the role
We are seeking an experienced SAP IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT support team.
This role will be primarily responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for SAP modules related to Procure to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), Record to Report (RTR), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
Main Duties
SAP System Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide day-to-day support for SAP modules in PTP, OTC, RTR, and SCM. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users and ensure business processes run smoothly across these areas.
User Support and Training:
Assist end-users with SAP system-related inquiries and provide training when necessary. Ensure that users understand the functionality of SAP modules and can execute their tasks efficiently.
System Configuration & Customization:
Support configuration changes and customizations for SAP modules in PTP, OTC, RTR, and SCM based on business requirements. Coordinate with SAP functional teams for system enhancements.
Process Optimization:
Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement within the PTP, OTC, RTR, and SCM processes. Implement system changes and improvements to optimize these business processes.
System Monitoring & Maintenance:
Monitor system performance and address any issues affecting SAP performance. Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including system patches and updates, to ensure operational efficiency.
Project Support:
Support SAP-related projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, and process migrations. Assist with testing, documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for project deliverables.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers, to resolve issues and implement solutions that meet business needs. Communicate effectively across teams and departments.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate regular reports on SAP system performance, incidents, and user feedback. Maintain comprehensive documentation on SAP support procedures, issue resolutions, and system configurations.
About you
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in these areas and will collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve SAP issues, implement enhancements, and ensure smooth system performance, alongside: -
Previous experience in SAP IT support or administration, with a focus on PTP, OTC, RTR, and SCM modules
Experience with S/4HANA is highly desirable
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, EDI, etc.) is a plus
Strong knowledge of SAP configurations and customizations related to the PTP, OTC, RTR, and SCM processes
Familiarity with SAP reporting tools and analytical capabilities
Strong understanding of business processes in PTP, OTC, RTR, and SCM, and how these processes are mapped in SAP
Experience in process optimization and driving business value through system improvements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage relationships with internal stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions in a timely manner
SAP certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA or ECC certifications)
Experience in managing interfaces between SAP and third-party systems
Knowledge of SAP authorization and security concepts. What you'll receive.
